Overview

The core working principle of the pressure differential online densitometer is based on the formula P=ρ gh for liquid static pressure difference. There are two pressure sensors (or pressure relays) inside the instrument, which are installed at a fixed vertical distance (h). The sensor measures the pressure difference (Δ P) generated by the liquid column, and with the known local gravity acceleration (g) and height (h), the density (ρ) of the liquid can be calculated. To ensure accuracy, devices usually have built-in temperature sensors (such as PT1000) that automatically compensate for changes in medium temperature. ‌
