The PM100USB power and energy meter head is compatible with all of our C-series photodiodes, thermal and pyroelectric probes (except for ES408C). weStandard photodiode、Ultra-thin photodiode、integrating sphereandoptical fiberThe probe can measure a total optical power ranging from 100 pW to 20 W.Thermal powerThe probe can measure optical power ranging from 10 µ W to 200 W.Pyroelectric energyThe probe can measure energy from 10 µ J to 15 J with a repetition rate of 2 kHz. Note that the ES408C probe (available below) has a repetition frequency of up to 10 kHz and is not recommended for use with the PM100 USB header as it can only support a maximum repetition frequency of 3 kHz. An energy probe with voltage output ranging from 100 mV to 100 V can also be used. In addition, a photodiode with a maximum photocurrent of 5 mA, without amplification and grounded anode or cathode, and a thermistor with a maximum output voltage of 1 V can also be used.
This header can be operated and powered by a PC through a mini USB port. A reading rate of 300 samples per second can actively monitor signals while using the header.
Please note that PM100USB does not include a probe. For information on compatible probes, please refer to the attached probe instructions. Thorlabs provides recalibration services for PM100USB, which can be ordered below (model CAL-PM1 or CAL-PM1D). If you have a corresponding probe that needs to be traced back to NIST for recalibration, you can recalibrate the PM100USB with the probe at no additional cost (not suitable for certification calibration).
