The 1-inch non polarized beam splitter cube provided by Thorlabs is an installed version that is compatible with 30mm cage systems. These installed cubes are suitable for three wavelength ranges: 400-700 nm, 700-1100 nm, and 1100-1600 nm.
This non polarized beam splitting cube is composed of two prisms, one of which is coated with a dielectric beam splitter film on its inclined surface. Then, use adhesive to bond the two prisms together (as shown in Figure 1.1). Each surface of the beam splitting cube is coated with a broadband anti reflection film, which can minimize losses caused by reflection to the greatest extent possible. The shell is engraved with arrows indicating the direction in which the light beam is incident on the spectral film layer, as shown in Figure 1.1. Although light can be incident from any surface coated with anti reflective film, it can only guarantee the specifications when the beam is first incident on one side of the spectral film; Please refer to Figure 1.1. The beam splitter cube is installed into the cage cube using epoxy resin and cannot be removed. We also offerEmpty 30mm cage cube, compatible with the ones we haven't installed yetSplit Cubeandright-angle prismSeries products.
Thorlabs also offers two other installed beam splitters:Polarization beam splitting cubeandThin film beam splitterWe also offer various optionsUninstalled beam splitterTo learn about the performance comparison of our non polarized beam splitter cube, flat plate beam splitter, and thin film beam splitter at a wavelength of 633 nm
