1、 Introduction to TCT-S2 Thermal Conductivity Tester Instrument
TCT-S2 is a thermal conductivity tester developed using transient planar heat source technology (TPS), which can be used to test the thermal conductivity performance of various types of materials. The transient planar heat source method is an accurate, convenient, and fast method for studying thermal conductivity. It is a new technology that can quickly and accurately measure thermal conductivity when studying materials. This method uses a planar probe with a double helix structure (as shown in the figure below), which is etched from alloy flakes. When measuring, the flat probe should be placed between two samples (as shown in the figure below), and the probe is both a heat source and a sensor. When measuring samples, the principle of Wheatstone bridge is used to detect the changes in voltage on the probe, and then the collected data is sent to the upper computer software for analysis and processing, and finally the thermal conductivity is obtained.
The thermal conductivity of materials is an important parameter indicator for studying their physical properties. In industries such as aviation, atomic energy, building materials, non-metallic materials, etc., it is required to predict or actually measure the thermal conductivity of relevant materials. The instrument is based on the principle of transient planar heat source method and relevant national standards requirements, and has been improved accordingly. The testing work is automatically completed by the computer. Satisfied the high-precision testing requirements of the material testing department for the thermal conductivity of materials.
