2.1 Performance

The instrument is equipped with an automatic energy storage function, which automatically stores energy after opening and closing.

● Time: The inherent opening and closing time of the 6 fracture surfaces, in the same phase and phase to phase synchronization.

● Recloser: each break opens and closes, opens and closes, opens and closes; Gold short time, no current interval time value.

Bounce: the closing bounce time, bounce frequency, bounce process, and bounce waveform of each fracture; The rebound amplitude of each break.

● Speed: just in and out speed, maximum speed, time stroke characteristic curve.

● Travel: total travel, opening distance, overtravel, overshoot travel, rebound amplitude.

● Current: The opening and closing current values and waveform diagrams of the opening and closing coils.

● Action voltage: The machine provides a DC0-270V/20A digital adjustable circuit breaker action power supply, which automatically completes the high and low voltage action tests of the circuit breaker, measures and prints the action voltage value of the circuit breaker.

2.2 Characteristics

The instrument adopts an industrial computer architecture and is suitable for all types of SF6 switches, GIS combination devices, vacuum switches, oil switches, column switches, contactors, etc. with metal contacts produced domestically and internationally.

Sensors: acceleration speed sensor, rotation speed sensor, linear travel sensor, and contact sensor, with extremely convenient and simple installation.

◆ Trigger modes: internal trigger, external trigger, sensor trigger, and manual trigger. Manual triggering can perform characteristic tests on manually opened and closed circuit breakers (without opening and closing coils), such as manual opening and closing switches on poles. Sensor triggering is mainly used in places with special requirements such as switch factories.

Energy storage output: The instrument can provide a DC adjustable energy storage power supply, which can control the motor energy storage at any time without reversing the wire after one-time connection.

3、 Definition of Terms

● Opening (closing) time: The starting point for timing is when the opening (closing) wire coil is powered on, until the time when the moving and stationary contacts are just opened (closed).

● Same phase and same period: The difference between the maximum and minimum opening (closing) times within the same phase.

● Phase to phase synchronization: The difference between the maximum and minimum opening (closing) times among the three phases.

● Average speed: During the opening (closing) process, 10% of the total travel of the moving contact is removed from the front and back, and the middle 80% is taken. The ratio of the travel of the moving contact to time is calculated.

● Maximum speed: During the opening (closing) process, after the moving contact starts to move, take the movement of the moving contact every 10ms as a speed calculation unit until the moving contact stops, and obtain several speed unit values, among which the maximum unit speed value is the maximum opening (closing) speed.

● Rigid opening (closing) speed: Depending on the manufacturer of the tested switch and the switch model, each manufacturer has defined different rigid opening (closing) speeds.

10ms before and after closing: IEC standards, some oil switches, and some SF6 switches;

5ms before and after closing: Partial oil switch;

LW8-35 type: LW8-35 SF6 switch;

10% to fracture: Partial SF6 switches produced by Xi'an Switchgear Factory;

ABB-HPL245B1: ABB's 220kV SF6 switch;

If none of the above definitions are adopted, users can define their own speed sampling segments for rigid opening and closing speeds based on the time travel characteristic curve measured by this tester (with directional travel). The instrument will automatically calculate the user-defined rigid opening and closing speeds (the ratio of travel to time within the sampling segment).
