-Structural composition: mainly composed of shell, tube plate, heat exchange tube, head, and baffle plate. -Working principle: Based on heat conduction and convective heat transfer, the hot fluid flows inside the tube and the cold fluid flows outside the tube (shell side), and the two exchange heat through the tube wall to achieve heat transfer.

-Material characteristics: It is usually made of austenitic stainless steel or duplex steel such as 304 and 316L, which has good corrosion resistance and can resist corrosive media such as acid, alkali, and salt. At the same time, it can withstand high temperatures of 400 ℃ and high pressures of 1.6MPa.

-Structural types: mainly including fixed tube plate type, floating head type, U-shaped tube type, packing box type, etc. The fixed tube plate structure is simple and cost-effective, but it is prone to thermal stress when there is a large temperature difference; Floating head type is suitable for large temperature differences and easy to clean, but it has a complex structure and high cost; U-shaped tube type is resistant to high temperature and high pressure, without leakage, but difficult to clean; The stuffing box is suitable for corrosive media and has a narrow range of applications.
