The construction of the weighing scale foundation is the same, and there is no essential difference in functionality. However, the production cycle of cement scales is much longer than that of all steel structures, so if you want to use cement scales as weighing scales, it is important to negotiate with the manufacturer as soon as possible to avoid delaying the use of weighing scales.

Two different settings
The foundation of a truck scale is an important component in ensuring its accuracy and stability. The foundation of a truck scale is divided into two types: shallow excavation and no excavation(As shown in the figure below), the shallow excavation foundation: the installed scale body is level with the ground, which has the advantage of occupying less space and making it easier for cars to get on and off the scale. However, when using this form, special attention must be paid to the drainage and dryness inside the scale pit. The scale body installed without a foundation pit will be higher than the ground, so it is necessary to make a slope that can allow the car to go up and down, so it occupies a large area. However, its good ventilation and dry environment can ensure that the car scale remains in ideal use and is easy to maintain.
As the foundation is an important component to ensure the normal use and overall quality of the truck scale, the construction quality and accuracy must be strictly controlled in the foundation production.
Several suggestions on the construction of truck scale foundation:
Site selection: The installation and construction location of the truck scale foundation should have good drainage channels, and the installation position should not be lower than the surrounding area. Otherwise, due to the low terrain, water accumulation may occur during rain, flooding the weighing scale and damaging the sensors. For shallow foundation pits, drainage channels should be set up. In addition, there must be a straight road of sufficient length at both ends for the car to get on and off the weighing platform, and the straight roads at both ends must be at least equal to the length of the weighing platform.
Precautions for the foundation of a truck scale:
Concrete foundation must be poured, This foundation must be excavated below the local permafrost line. During construction, the concrete grade should be ensured, and the dimensions such as levelness and positional accuracy of the embedded parts should be ensured. When pouring concrete, the embedded parts should also be ensured not to shift. After the foundation pouring is completed, it should be cured according to the civil engineering specifications. Only when the concrete reaches the design strength index can the weighing scale be installed.
If the maintenance period needs to be shortened, it is allowed to adopt additional measures under the guidance of professional technicians during constructionMeasures such as "early strengthening agents". For lightning protection, you should set up a grounding post according to local conditions and ensure that the grounding resistance is less than 4 ohms. An iron pipe should be laid from the center of the weighing platform to the weighing room for threading signal cables.

Advantages and disadvantages of shallow foundation pit and no foundation pit for automobile scales:
Shallow foundation pit refers to the installation of a truck scale underground, and after installation, the surface of the truck scale is flush with the ground.
Advantages: Less land occupation, no need for slope construction. This method is suitable for customers with relatively small venues, but it is important to ensure that the terrain is high.
Disadvantage: If the nearby terrain is low, it is easily affected by rainwater. On the other hand, installing underground is not conducive to maintenance and after-sales repair. Poor underground ventilation conditions have an impact on the overall lifespan of the weighing scale.
Without a foundation pit, the truck scale is installed on the ground level, and the surface of the truck scale is higher than the ground. Two slopes need to be made on both sides to facilitate getting on and off the vehicle.
Advantages: The basic method is relatively simple, easy to maintain, installed on the ground, conducive to ventilation of the weighing body, extending the life of the weighing body, and higher than the ground is conducive to drainage. Especially suitable for customers with large sites or those who have already poured concrete on the ground and do not want to dig a new foundation pit.
Disadvantage: Need to make slopes on both sides, occupying a relatively large area.

Maintenance of Truck Scale Malfunctions:
1. The small tonnage loading display is normal, but when it approaches half of the scale, the weight value suddenly increases. This phenomenon is mostly caused by the gap between the longitudinal limit bolt and the top plate being too small. When the load increases, the longitudinal bolt presses against the top plate, generating a directional force that causes the displayed value to suddenly increase.
2. Small tonnage loading is normal. After increasing the load, the displayed value significantly decreases. This phenomenon may be due to the contact between the protective cover of the weighing sensor and the weighing platform or improper adjustment of the load limiting device of the weighing sensor, causing the weight to be added to the weighing sensor.
3. There is a heavy object on the weighing platform, but the display is still "zero". The possible reason is:
The function keys of the weighing display controller are used incorrectly and are not in the weighing display state. It may be that the total output line of the weighing sensor is not in contact with the connector of the weighing display sensor
4. The scale platform is not flexible and the ballast does not match the display. There is filling material in the gap between the scale body and the slope (or between the scale pits), which connects the scale platform to the ramp (or pit body) and affects weighing.
5. The displayed value after loading is significantly lower than the load value. Usually, there is a malfunction in the excitation power supply of the weighing sensor.
6. After power on, the display flashes a fixed character shape and does not measure. Generally, the output signal of the weighing sensor is short circuited to the shielding layer, causing the weighing display controller to input a large signal and experience overload. A multimeter can be used to measure the resistance between the sensor and the shielding layer, as well as between the sensor and the ground wire, to identify and eliminate the short circuit.
7. The printer is not turning and cannot work. Caused by poor printer connectors.
