The rice taste meter is a specialized instrument and equipment used for quickly and accurately measuring the taste quality of rice. It quantitatively analyzes the taste and aroma characteristics of rice by simulating human taste evaluation, providing scientific basis for the evaluation of rice quality. It is widely used in rice breeding, processing, trade, and food quality testing.
working principle
The rice taste meter mainly uses near-infrared spectroscopy analysis technology. Rice samples are irradiated with specific wavelengths of near-infrared light inside the instrument, and there are differences in the absorption and reflection of near-infrared light among different qualities of rice. The instrument receives reflected light signals through high-precision photoelectric sensors, and then uses a built-in intelligent analysis system to quickly calculate the taste value of rice based on a pre established correlation model between rice taste quality and spectral data, including key indicators such as protein content, amylose content, and gel consistency, in order to comprehensively evaluate the taste quality of rice.
Product Features
1. Fast and efficient: It can complete the detection of rice taste quality in a short period of time. Compared with traditional manual tasting evaluation methods, it greatly improves the detection efficiency and is suitable for rapid screening and detection of large-scale samples.
2. Accurate and reliable: Based on advanced spectral analysis technology and precise algorithm models, the detection results have high accuracy and repeatability, which can objectively and stably reflect the taste quality of rice, avoiding evaluation errors caused by individual differences and subjective factors in manual tasting.
3. Easy to operate: The instrument interface is friendly, the operation process is simple and easy to understand, and after brief training, ordinary users can proficiently master the usage method. The sample preparation process is also relatively simple. Simply grind the rice into powder and place it in a sample cup according to a certain amount for testing, without the need for complex pre-treatment steps.
4. Wide applicability: It is not only suitable for various varieties of rice, such as indica rice, japonica rice, glutinous rice, etc., but also for evaluating the taste quality of rice from different origins and processing techniques, providing support for the full chain quality control of the rice industry.
Application scenarios
1. Rice breeding: In the process of rice breeding, rice taste meters are used to quickly screen out varieties with excellent taste quality, assisting breeding experts in variety improvement and breeding, improving breeding efficiency, and cultivating high-quality rice varieties that better meet market demand.
2. Rice processing: Rice processing enterprises can use this instrument to detect the taste quality of raw rice and processed rice, monitor quality changes during the processing, optimize processing parameters such as grinding accuracy and polishing degree, ensure stable taste quality of processed rice, and enhance product competitiveness.
3. Rice trade: In the rice trade process, it serves as an important basis for quality inspection by both buyers and sellers. By objectively and accurately testing the taste and quality of rice, the price and grade of rice can be determined fairly and reasonably, reducing disputes arising from quality disputes and promoting the healthy development of rice trade.
4. Food quality testing: Food regulatory authorities can use rice taste meters to conduct random inspections of rice products on the market, promptly detect and punish rice products with substandard quality, and ensure the food safety and legitimate rights and interests of consumers. At the same time, it also provides raw material quality monitoring methods for rice related food processing enterprises to ensure the stable quality of food processing products.
maintenance
1. Cleaning and maintenance: After each use, the sample residue inside the instrument should be cleaned in a timely manner, and the instrument housing and sample chamber should be wiped with a soft and clean cloth to avoid the accumulation of dust and impurities that may affect the detection accuracy. Regularly clean the optical components of the instrument, using specialized cleaning agents and tools according to the instructions to prevent contamination of the optical lens.
2. Calibration and maintenance: Regularly calibrate the rice taste meter, and it is generally recommended to calibrate it every 3-6 months. Use standard samples for calibration to ensure the measurement accuracy of the instrument. At the same time, check whether the various functions of the instrument are normal, such as sensor sensitivity, data transmission stability, etc., and promptly discover and solve potential faults.
3. Storage conditions: When not in use for a long time, the instrument should be stored in a dry, ventilated, and non corrosive gas environment, avoiding direct sunlight and high temperature and humidity environments that can damage the instrument. Remove the battery (if any) from the instrument and conduct regular power on checks to prevent electronic components from being damaged by moisture.
