Details

RainVUE™ 20The rain sensor collects rainwater through a stainless steel filter screen, which can also filter out debris at the same time. Rainwater flows into the tipping bucket through the filter screen. When the first tipping bucket is filled with water to a fixed calibration height, the internal tipping bucket assembly will rotate and tilt around the precision pivot bearing. Then the balance arm moves the second tipping bucket below the funnel. When the tipping bucket tilts, the magnet connected to the balance arm will drive the magnetic spring switch, forming a pulse signal.
