Instructions for Use
start
- Before starting, check if the water pump installation and power connection are correct.
- The float switch is directly connected to the pump to control the start and stop of the pump. Check if the float switch can move freely without interference from other objects.
- For water pumps without float switch structures, the pump starts when it is immersed in water. If the motor is not immersed in water or runs for too long in water temperatures exceeding 40 ℃, the motor will be shut down. When the temperature of the motor coil is too cold, the thermal protection device automatically switches.
- Start the water pump and let it rotate for a few seconds. Check its starting, running, and direction of rotation (for three-phase pumps, if the wrong direction of rotation is found, rotate the two phases before starting). If no or very little water flows out, it indicates a fault in the direction of rotation of the water pump, and you should turn back the phase.

- When the water pump is running, you must pay attention to the water surface height (especially when running at small capacity). Once the water surface height is not enough, the water pump must be prohibited from running. If the water pump runs for a long time without water, it will burn out the motor or coil.
- The actual lifting height (from the water surface to the destination) should not be less than 80% of the specified lifting height (see nameplate for lifting height).
- The voltage fluctuation range should be within 10% of the rated voltage, otherwise it will reduce the motor life and even damage the motor.
- If any abnormal phenomena are found during the operation of the water pump, such as abnormal noise, insufficient or no water output, the power should be immediately turned off and the pump operation should be stopped. Do not touch the pump body when it is powered on or damp.
