1. Test voltage: If the impedance of the test sample is not known, 2V can be used for testing first. If the test current is less than 1A, 30V can be used for measurement instead.
2. Current detection: Clamp the clamp CT to the part where the current needs to be measured. For example, it can be clamped onto the lead wire connecting the capacitor instead of necessarily the capacitor sleeve. If measuring the total current, it can also be directly clamped onto the voltage lead.
3. Clamp shaped CT orientation: It is required to face the front of the current clamp towards the red clamp (i.e. 2V or 20V) direction, and the instrument will automatically distinguish between capacitance, inductance, or resistance.
4. Magnetic field interference: It is recommended to keep the clamp type CT at least 1 meter away from the instrument. If measuring an inductor with severe magnetic leakage, it is recommended to stay at least 1 meter away from the inductor.
5. Low inductance (reactance) and large capacitance: The clamp should be placed as close as possible to the test sample lead terminal.
6. Measurement process: After wiring is completed, start the measurement power supply. During the measurement process, do not move the voltage line, and do not touch or move the clamp type CT.
