Automatically protected immediately after startup

(1) Is there a short circuit in the load

(2) Check if the overvoltage and overcurrent protection threshold is set to zero

(3) Unplug the five core cable plug, connect the grounding wire of the control box casing, and then separately power on the control box to start. If the startup is normal, it is a fault in the high-voltage generator; otherwise, it is a fault in the control box

High voltage index KV

Open the side panel of the control box when there is an error in the meter. The DC high voltage generator repeatedly adjusts the two blue rectangular shunt adjustable resistors in the control board. At the same time, calibrate with a standard high voltage meter or a precision ammeter connected to the local voltage measurement socket. If the accuracy still cannot be adjusted and the error is large (>1.5%), it is a mechanical failure of the meter head. Please return the control box to the unit for repair.

No high voltage output

(1) If the high voltage meter indicates but the load does not have high voltage, it is due to poor contact of a certain plug-in point in the high voltage circuit. The contact point needs to be reconnected after the voltage indication reaches zero after shutdown.

(2) The high-voltage meter has an indication but the load has a high-voltage output (with current indication or corona discharge phenomenon). If it is a malfunction of the high voltage indicator or a disconnection of the measurement circuit.

(3) Unplug the five core plug and ground the control box casing to test the boost. If there is an invalid AC output of 0-220 at pin 1.2 of the cable socket, and no output, it is a control box fault. If there is an output, it is a generator failure.

Spherical high-pressure flowmeter

The DC high-voltage generator is not working properly and is unstable. The 9V battery voltage inside the spherical meter is too low and needs to be replaced. (Method: Unscrew the screw of the metal ball of the meter that covers the socket and remove the upper cover to replace the battery.)

The spherical voltage current meter has a large error

(1) The three core plug of the high-voltage outgoing cable has poor contact with the socket.

(2) The 9V battery inside the ball is dead, replace the battery (method as above).

Precautions

The high-voltage testing work must strictly comply with the relevant provisions of the safety work regulations issued by the Ministry of Energy.

When opening the box, check for any transportation damage or poor contact.

After a period of use, it is necessary to check whether all electrical components are in good condition, especially the contact of the voltage regulator carbon brush.

Strictly follow the procedure for operation.

The layout of experimental equipment should have sufficient safety distance around people. Try to avoid placing equipment and applying high voltage leads in personnel corridors as much as possible.

Install fences and hang "Stop, High Voltage Danger" signs at the test site.

High voltage leads in the experiment should have supporting or traction insulation materials. There should be a safety supervisor to prevent anyone from approaching or passing underneath.

Power frequency withstand voltage test: Please pay attention to verifying whether the equipment capacity is sufficient and avoid resonance.

The working ground wire (high voltage tail, stabilizing capacitor terminal ground wire) and the protective ground wire (operating box shell) should be connected separately and have good grounding performance.

If there is irregular swinging of the power supply during the experiment (such as welding), it will inevitably affect the stability of the high-voltage output. At this time, the experiment should be stopped to find out the cause and eliminate it.

5. The requirements for climate (temperature, humidity) in the experimental work should comply with the requirements of the experimental regulations and be recorded.
