Product Details

Product Purpose:
The battery needle puncture testing machine verifies the safety performance of the battery through needle puncture testing, and determines the experimental results based on real-time test data (such as battery voltage, maximum temperature on the battery surface, and pressure video data). After the needle puncture test, the battery should not ignite, explode, or smoke; It is also an essential testing equipment for battery manufacturers and research institutes.
Product Features
Qc743 old standard requires:
Use a high-temperature resistant steel needle with a diameter of 3mm~8mm, at a speed of 10mm/s~40mmls, to penetrate at least three battery cells from a direction perpendicular to the battery module plates (with the steel needle staying in the battery)
QC743 new standard requirements:
Use a 6mm-o10mm high-temperature resistant steel needle (with a needle tip angle of 60 degrees, a smooth surface, no rust, oxide layer, or oil stains) at a speed of 20-30 mm/s, from the direction perpendicular to the battery plate, until it penetrates three individual batteries (with the steel needle staying in the battery for 1 hour after the test)
QC743 Old Standard Requirement:
With diameter o3mm-8mm high temperatureresistant steel needle, lOmmls~40mms speed, penetrate at least three storage battery monomer from vertical direction of store battery module pole board(steel needle stay in the storage battery)
QC743 New Standard Requirement:
With diameter 6mm-o10mm high temperature resistant steel needle(the angle of needle point is 60 degree, needle surface firish, no corrosion,oxidelayer and oilstin).20mmls-3Ommls speed,from vertical direoction of store battery module pole board, penetrate till hree monomer storage battery(steel needle stay in the storage battery, observe 1h after test)
