Overview

DM-III putty polishing tester is a new type of instrument designed and manufactured according to the national standard GB/T1770-2008, used to evaluate the polishing resistance of primer and putty. This device performs back and forth polishing on the primer and putty samples to be tested, and the polishing frequency can be directly read by a counter. Based on the load weight, polishing frequency, and wear degree, the polishing resistance of the primer and putty can be evaluated. This instrument uses magnetic suction cups, making sample loading and unloading convenient.

DM-III puttyPolishing testerMain parameters:

1. Friction speed: 0-135 times/minute (one-way)
2. Travel distance: 155mm
3. Number range: 0-9999 (two-way counting) Note: two-way x 2 is one-way
4. Load: Grinding head: 570 ± 15 grams, counterweight: 1 piece each of 50 ± 3 grams, 100 ± 4 grams, and 200 ± 7 grams
5. Power supply: 220V 50Hz
6. Power: 60W
7. Dimensions: 270 * 310 * 355 (length x width x height)
8. Weight: Approximately 25kg
9. Sample specification: Tinplate 50 × 120 δ=0.3~1.5mm

Operation Instructions:

1. Rotate the hexagonal wrench on the edge of the permanent magnet suction cup clockwise, and place the 50 × 120mm tinplate coated with the sample and dried in the center of the suction cup. Rotate the hexagonal wrench counterclockwise, and the sample will be adsorbed on the suction cup.
2. Use metallographic sandpaper with a width of 60 × 120mm as the polishing sandpaper. Loosen the locking nuts on both sides of the polishing head and rotate the paper cylinder (i.e. the slotted shaft rod in the middle) to tighten and fix the polishing sandpaper on the polishing head. Then tighten the locking nut and place the polishing head on the swing arm of this measuring instrument. If you want to increase the load weight, you can place additional weights on the polishing head.
3. Turn on the power switch, the machine starts working. After reaching the predetermined number of times, the machine automatically stops. Rotate the Allen wrench clockwise until it reaches the desired position, then remove the sample for observation.
4. If you want to stop the machine during operation, you can directly turn off the power switch, and then turn on the power switch again to continue working.
5. After the machine automatically stops, simply press the "reset (R)" button on the counter to restart the machine.

Notes:

1. It is strictly prohibited to turn on the machine without installing samples and sanding paper.
2. After the experiment is completed, the power should be cut off as soon as possible.
