The PS-2136A 3-axis acceleration/altimeter sensor can simultaneously perform five measurements: acceleration on three axes (velocity over time): X, Y, and Z, composite acceleration, and altitude. The units of measurement for acceleration include m/s2 (meters per second squared) and g (acceleration caused by the Earth's gravity), while the units of measurement for height include meters (m) and feet (ft). This sensor is designed for use with PASPORT compatible interfaces and PASCO data collection software. Measure acceleration data up to 500 Hz. Oversampling of dynamic variables will automatically reduce measurement noise when the sampling rate is low.
Acceleration can be measured in units of g or m/s2
