The MC MONITORING fiber optic accelerometer FAS-1xx M2 can be used with a standard cable length of 10 meters. The sealed feedthrough connector accommodates the optoelectronic and regulating circuits. This sensor provides both acceleration and displacement outputs simultaneously.

The FAS fiber optic accelerometer is designed as a non-conductive type and is not affected by electromagnetic interference. Its optical connection ensures good electrical insulation between the sensor and the instrument. Its passive technology makes it very suitable for impact and vibration measurement in areas where traditional piezoelectric and piezoelectric accelerometers may pose a danger to machines and personnel and damage reliable operation.

The optical sensor body does not contain any metal components. The optical fiber is embedded and protected by a 5mm thick PTFE tube. The available standard fiber optic cable length is 10 meters. The sealed feedthrough connector accommodates the optoelectronic and regulating circuits. This sensor provides both acceleration and displacement outputs simultaneously.
