The BM-S respirator can analyze the biodegradation process of soil and compost through a very simple method. The BM-S breathing apparatus mainly consists of a host, a thermostat, software, and a computer. The host part includes a reactor, an electronic control panel, a maintenance free Hamilton oxygen sensor, a double-layer stirrer, an air diffuser, etc. The experimental test sample soil or compost needs to be pretreated. First, the sample is crushed and then sieved through a 0.5mm interval. The sieved sample is diluted with 1L of distilled water. Instrument working principle: The oxygen demand is determined by automatic calculation through oxygen absorption software, which calculates the numerical value determined by the oxygen value from the high set point to the low set point. When the oxygen reaches the low set point each time, the aeration system automatically starts and stops when it reaches the high set point. Then, the experiment begins a new measurement cycle, and the software calculates the oxygen intake for each cycle.耗氧呼吸仪
