1、 The function of arc resistance tester

Mainly by simulating the arc phenomenon that electrical equipment may encounter during actual operation, the arc resistance performance of insulation materials for electrical equipment is tested. During the testing process, the instrument will apply a certain voltage to the tested sample to generate an arc. By observing the generation and development process of the arc, as well as the damage to the sample after testing, the arc resistance performance of electrical equipment can be evaluated.



2、 Instrument Introduction

The HCDH-4 arc resistance test system is a high-precision equipment developed specifically for testing electrical insulation materials. It is suitable for testing the arc resistance performance of electrical insulation materials, plastics, films, resins, mica, ceramics, glass, insulation paints, etc. It simulates an arc discharge environment and conducts high-voltage arc excitation tests on insulation materials to evaluate their arc resistance performance.

4、 Working principle

lHigh voltage arc excitation: By applying a high-voltage arc on the sample, observe the degree of carbonization and conductivity of the sample under the action of the arc.

lRecording time: During the experiment, the arc resistance tester will continuously excite the sample with a high-voltage arc and record the time from the beginning of carbonization to conductivity of the sample.

lPerformance evaluation: This time reflects the arc resistance of the sample, with a higher value indicating better arc resistance.
