Nuclear receptors are transcription factors in cells that affect various functions, including fatty acid metabolism, development, and physiological balance. They directly regulate gene expression, either by binding to sequence factors specific to target gene promoter regions or by interacting with other proteins, such as other transcription factors, in response to lipid molecules. Signosis provides 24 specific nuclear receptor CMV expression vectors labeled with Myc, which, together with highly specific anti Myc labeled antibodies, can be used for immunoprecipitation of protein interactions.

B.Principle:
The vector can be transfected into corresponding cells for studying specific nuclear receptor functions, such as protein-protein interactions. When the vector is transfected into cells, the nuclear receptor is expressed as a c-Myc antigen epitope marker. The anti-c-Myc monoclonal antibody immunoprecipitates nuclear receptors together with interacting proteins.
