X4 PoseIDON's modular hardware and user centric software can meet the needs of any analysis task. Thanks to its flagship technology, the system achieves an effective balance between field of view, magnification, and speed - with lightning fast scanning speed, wide coverage, and the ability to distinguish features as small as 2 μ m.


X4 Poseidon combines two detectors and is a multi view desktop 3D X-ray microscope solution in history. Our excellent collection algorithm and GEM Plus ™ The function ensures that each set of 3D images is captured in an excellent manner.

X4 POSEIDON is a modular X-ray desktop microscope. This instrument can be upgraded according to different needs, and with the development of technology, new components can be easily integrated.

X4 Poseidon has been a comprehensive microcomputer tomography solution from the beginning, with multiple advanced features to enhance the user experience.

The basic configuration of X4 Poseidon includes a mature reflective X-ray source and a multifunctional flat panel detector. With these components, the system can perform ultra fast scanning with excellent field of view and sharp contrast without affecting resolution.

Whether your laboratory supports multiple users in different research and development fields or specific industrial processes, X4 PoseIDON can provide comprehensive non-destructive, qualitative, and quantitative 3D analysis capabilities.

IIGEM Plus ™: Excellent flexibility in imaging

X4 Poseidon combines excellent scanning geometry and multi-scale field of view technology, enhanced by geometric magnification mode (GEM Plus) ™) Provides flexibility for desktop computers.

By moving the sample closer to the light source or detector, a balance between field of view and resolution can be achieved. When choosing the ideal detector that meets your needs, you must consider the balance between field of view, resolution, and scanning speed. If speed is the top priority, then a flat panel detector is perfect for your application. On the other hand, sCMOS detectors are an ideal choice for achieving high resolution.

4Powerful X-ray capability

X4 Poseidon supports the new generation of microfocus X-ray sources. As demand continues to change, this platform allows for on-site replacement of light sources.

High-energy reflective X-ray source

1) The X-ray beam energy generated by the reflected X-ray source can reach up to 100 kV with a power of 20 W. This industrial grade X-ray source is an excellent choice for multi-user, laboratory, or screening work. It does not require maintenance and has a low cost of ownership.

Micro focused transmission X-ray source

2) The spot size of the transmitted X-ray source is 2 µ m, which is a research solution for obtaining high-resolution data. The application range of 110 kV energy will be expanded to samples with higher density and larger size.

Our 3D resolution guarantee

3) Each Bruker 3D X-ray microscope has a guaranteed 3D resolution. During the factory calibration period, the 2D and 3D resolution performance was tested and recorded using industry standard JIMA 2D and 3D QRM models. After installation, ensure on-site performance by repeating 2D JIMA measurements.


5Improve productivity and throughput

X4 POSEIDON can choose a 15 bit automatic sampler to maximize instrument utilization and reduce operator workload.

The compact automatic sampler is located in front of the instrument, in accordance with ergonomic principles. The status of each position is displayed by LED indicator lights, and samples can be added or replaced at any time, even during operation. The intelligent loading algorithm optimizes the sample throughput.

Each position can accommodate samples with a diameter of 50 millimeters and a height of 80 millimeters. Small samples can be vertically stacked and bundled together to increase capacity.

When not in use, the automatic sampler does not need to be disassembled and does not affect access to the instrument, loading large samples or special platforms.


6、 4D-CT: Excellent Integration

By improving throughput through source power, detector speed efficiency, variable geometry, and advanced scanning modes, new possibilities have been provided for in-situ 4D-CT experiments using proprietary special platforms for compression testing, tensile testing, and non ambient temperature testing. All platforms are integrated into software and hardware, without the need for additional cables. The interfaces inside the chassis allow the use of customized or third-party platforms.
