Nano channel in-situ transmission electron microscopy liquid heated sample rod

The Nano Channel chip technology originated from Professor Kristian M ø lhave of the Technical University of Denmark. After more than 10 years of development, it was commercialized by InsightChips in 2022. Thanks to its revolutionary innovation, it can achieve reproducible atomic level liquid in situ imaging, and this technology is widely used in TEM, SEM, optical microscopy, and synchrotron radiation.

Compared to traditional upper and lower chip liquid solutions, this technology has no pressure differential liquid surface expansion problem, can accurately control the liquid surface thickness to 5nm, and can control the SiN observation window thickness to 0nm, effectively ensuring in-situ liquid atomic level resolution imaging. At the same time, this technology directly bonds two chips using semiconductor technology, eliminating the need for additional cleaning and complex leak detection processes.
