The NKT-N9 series nanoparticle analyzer is a specialized analytical instrument used to characterize the particle size and distribution of nanoparticles. It is based on the principle of dynamic light scattering (DLS) and photon correlation spectroscopy (PCS) technology, using laser irradiation to uniformly disperse nanoparticles in a sample pool. The detection fiber receives the dynamic scattered light of the sample particles caused by Brownian motion at a 90 ° angle and transmits it to a photomultiplier tube (PMT) to convert the light signal into a discrete pulse signal. Then, the autocorrelation curve of the sample is obtained through a digital correlator, and the diffusion coefficient of the particles is obtained by combining mathematical methods. Finally, the particle size and distribution of the measured sample are calculated according to the Stokes Einstein equation.

NKT-N9 laser particle size analyzer is widely used for particle size characterization of organic or inorganic nano lotion, powder, polymer, micelle, virus antibody, protein and other samples in various fields such as new materials, pharmacy, bioengineering, life science, chemical industry, coating, food safety, and the dispersion and stability analysis of sample systems.

Technical Explanation
All fiber testing optical path creates high sensitivity
The test optical path constructed by coupling a high-performance low-noise fiber coupled semiconductor laser with an all fiber dynamic scattering light receiving system uses a HAMAMASTU photomultiplier tube (PMT) with low dark counting and high sensitivity as the photodetector, which enables the entire test system to have high sensitivity and signal-to-noise ratio, laying the foundation for testing accuracy and high resolution.
High speed digital correlators achieve high resolution
The independently developed high-speed digital correlator is used as the core device for signal processing, which collects dynamic scattered light intensity in real-time and performs autocorrelation operation at high speed. It has the ability to recognize 6ns signal resolution, 100Mbps data processing speed, and a linear dynamic range higher than 1011, ensuring the integrity of autocorrelation curves for particles of different sizes throughout the entire range.

Full range calibration verification to ensure testing accuracy
Multiple national particle size standard substances were used for calibration and verification within the full range, and the testing accuracy error was less than 1% (higher than the requirements of the national standard GB/T29022-2021/ISO22412:2017).
High precision constant temperature control
The semiconductor laser with automatic constant temperature technology ensures stable and reliable laser output. The high-precision constant temperature control system keeps the tested sample in the sample pool in a constant temperature state throughout the entire testing process, avoiding test deviations caused by temperature changes in medium viscosity and particle Brownian motion speed, thereby ensuring the reliability and stability of the test results.
