A motor megohmmeter is a portable instrument specifically designed to measure the insulation resistance of motors, transformers, cables, and other electrical equipment. It detects the performance of insulation materials by applying high voltage direct current, thereby timely detecting hidden dangers before faults occur, ensuring the safe, reliable, and long-term operation of equipment.
The motor megohmmeter tests high resistance by generating high voltage. This instrument can generate low current DC charges, which can be used to test the resistance commonly encountered in motor winding or cable insulation testing. A megohmmeter generates this high voltage through an internal circuit powered by a battery or a manually operated generator.
The UHV-2671 insulated digital megohmmeter produced by ultra-high voltage is composed of medium to large-scale integrated circuits. This table has high output power, high short-circuit current value, and multiple output voltage levels (with four voltage levels).
The working principle of UHV-2671 motor megohmmeter is that the DC high voltage generated by the internal battery as the power source through DC/DC conversion is sent from the E pole to the L pole through the tested object, thereby generating a current from E to the L pole. After I/V conversion and division by a divider, the measured insulation resistance value is directly displayed on the LCD.

1. The digital megohmmeter has high output power, strong load capacity, and strong resistance. The casing is made of high-strength aluminum alloy, and the machine is equipped with an equipotential protection ring and a fourth-order active low-pass filter, which can effectively shield the external power frequency and strong electromagnetic field. Due to the output short-circuit current being greater than 1.6mA, it is easy for the test voltage to quickly rise to the rated value of the output voltage when measuring capacitive test samples. For low resistance measurement, the use of proportional design does not affect the accuracy of the test due to voltage drop.
