The Microsonic ZWS-15/CD/QS sensor is a high-performance ultrasonic sensor designed specifically for the industrial automation field, with measurement accuracy and environmental adaptability. This sensor adopts the principle of ultrasonic technology, which can accurately detect the position, distance, and liquid level of objects, and is widely used in industries such as logistics, packaging, and automobile manufacturing.

Technical principles and performance characteristics

The Microsonic ZWS-15/CD/QS sensor operates based on the principle of ultrasonic time-of-flight (TOF) measurement. The sensor emits ultrasonic pulses, which generate echoes when encountering the surface of an object. The distance between the object is determined by calculating the time difference between transmission and reception. This non-contact measurement method avoids mechanical wear and extends the service life of the equipment. The working frequency of this sensor is 400kHz, with a measurement range of 15cm to 8m, a resolution of 0.18mm, and a response time of less than 20ms, which can meet the accuracy requirements of the vast majority of industrial application scenarios.

Product Introduction of Liquid Level Indicator

The liquid level indicator is a device that installs an ultrasonic probe directly below (at the bottom) the outer wall of the container being tested. It does not require drilling, is easy to install, and does not affect on-site production. It can achieve accurate measurement of various toxic substances and pure liquids in high-temperature and high-pressure sealed containers. The instrument adopts explosion-proof design to meet explosion-proof requirements.

Structure of liquid level indicator: When the liquid level changes, the float floats up and down according to the change in liquid level. The mechanical indicator is driven by a toothed conveyor belt to change its position up and down, and the liquid level is indicated by a simple ruler. At the same time, the conveyor belt drives the gearbox gears to rotate, and the gearbox converts the displacement of the float from * * position to position change into a 360 ° rotation and sends it to the photoelectric encoder. The photoelectric encoder converts this position into an 8-bit binary number and sends it to the liquid level measurement device. The photoelectric encoder adopts the E6CP-AG5C produced by OMRON Corporation in Japan, with a power supply of+12~+24V and an output of 8-bit Gray code.

The liquid level measuring device receives data output from the photoelectric encoder, processes this data, and obtains the current liquid level value. This liquid level value can be sent to the management computer in the control room through the communication bus, and displayed locally with LED. The device can also accumulate the liquid flow in/out of the tank. The gearbox and photoelectric encoder are enclosed in a cast aluminum casing to meet the requirements of corrosion resistance and explosion prevention.
