SIENA is used for portable and industrial integrationMicro near-infrared spectrometer

Main Features
• Wavelength range: 800 to 2100nm
Low power uncooled InGaAs sensor
• Scattered light performance
• Compact size
Siena has taken near-infrared spectroscopy technology to a new level. It combines the high performance and flexibility of array sensor spectrometers with the small size, low price, and high reliability required for portable applications and industrial sensors. It provides a wavelength range of up to 2100 nm through an uncooled InGaAs array sensor.
Siena is a low-cost, high-performance near-infrared spectrometer. Siena's high cost-effectiveness makes it suitable for integration into portable and industrial sensors for high-precision measurements. And due to its sensitivity, optimized stray light suppression, and high dynamic range, it can accurately measure large absorbance values.
Siena has the flexibility to adapt to specific applications: it has three standard wavelength ranges that can be customized to improve resolution. The default entrance slit of 20 µ m is user replaceable and can be easily changed for better sensitivity. Its microcontroller performs onboard automatic exposure, averaging, buffering, and spectral processing. In addition, it can also achieve spectrum evaluation for specific applications.
Siena offers at competitive pricesGood performance has opened up countless new possibilities for near-infrared based sensors.

*Measure with halogen lamp and high pass filter
Wavelength range and resolution
Siena has the following standard configurations and can also customize other wavelength ranges for customers.

The measurement conditions for the above resolution default to using a 20 μ m inlet slit. A larger entrance slit typically increases resolution and sensitivity proportional to its width. The wavelength accuracy is usually one-third of the resolution.
Image sensor
Siena used a new InGaAs line sensor with built-in dark current compensation function. Traditional InGaAs sensors require cooling beyond 1700nm to prevent rapid saturation of dark current. Siena can operate up to 2100nm at room temperature without the need for cooling. Due to the elimination of the need for fans, the overall size and power consumption have been reduced.
