This product is used to determine the sensitivity of Candida and Cryptococcus neoformans to antifungal agents.

Under conditions similar to microdilution (as recommended by EUCAST [1,6,8] and CLSI [2,6] reference methods), a yeast like fungal susceptibility test kit (microdilution method) was used to determine the sensitivity of Candida and Cryptococcus neoformans to antifungal agents in semi-solid culture medium. This product is used for sensitivity testing of yeast like fungi against antifungal agents.

The test strip of the yeast like fungal susceptibility test kit (microdilution method) includes 16 pairs of cup-shaped indentations. The first pair does not contain any antifungal agents and is used as a positive growth control. Another 15 pairs of 5 antifungal agents containing different dilutions were used to determine the minimum inhibitory concentration (MIC) and/or differentiate clinical sensitivity. Transfer the prepared suspension of yeast like fungi to the culture medium and inoculate it onto the test strip. After incubation, we can visually assess the growth of the liquid in the cup-shaped cavity or use ATB instruments or mini API (automatic assessment software will be provided later) to obtain MIC (amphotericin Amphotericin [AMB], Fluconazole [FCA], Itraconazole [ITR], Fluconazole [VRC], 5-fluorouracil [5F]), and classify the bacteria as sensitive, intermediate, or resistant.
