This process is initiated by applying a high voltage, which generates an electric field between the droplets of the polymer solution and the collector. Spherical solution droplets elongate due to the accumulation of charges on the droplet surface and form a cone shape with the increase of electrostatic force. Once the force reaches a certain limit and overcomes the surface tension of the droplet, the polymer solution will form a jet that moves towards the collector. During this movement, the solvent evaporates and the dried nanofibers deposit on the collector, forming a static net.

On the contrary, the nanofiber filter layer adopts mechanisms such as inertial diffusion, impact, and interception. Several types of laboratory programs can be used to synthesize nanofibers. These include phase separation, self-assembly, and template synthesis, with certain techniques being more suitable for using specific materials and sizes. Jingjing is still a suitable and commonly used method for manufacturing nanofibers. Jingjing involves charging a polymer solution under high pressure, forming a jet towards the target substrate before solidification. Solid textile - a layer of nanofibers - formed on the target substrate.
