This testing equipment meets the requirements of Article 9.4.2.2 of GB/T 44263-2024 for testing the temperature protection function of DC vehicle interfaces. It can simulate the heating of the gun socket pins and test whether the charging gun head can sense temperature overheating, thereby automatically switching the power supply of the charging pile. The equipment is controlled by PLC and touch screen, and the PDI temperature controller automatically controls the temperature, achieving temperature adjustment, constant temperature, and timing functions within the set range.

DC vehicle interface temperature protection function test
The temperature protection function of the DC vehicle interface should be tested as follows. The testing devices for tests 1 to 5 are shown in Figure 7. If necessary, the structure of the charging connection device can be slightly damaged, and the impact of structural damage on the temperature characteristics of the charging connection device should be minimized as much as possible.
Experiment 1 Calibration Test: Turn on the heat exchange device (if any), and the DC power supply equipment outputs the rated continuous current. After the temperature rise of the TS and T1 temperature sensors stabilizes, turn on the heating device and adjust the heating power to stabilize the temperature of the T1 temperature sensor at 105 ℃, and obtain the calibrated thermal fault power Pmn.
Experiment 2 Slow Fault Test: Turn on the heat exchange device (if any), output the rated continuous current of the DC power supply equipment, and apply the thermal fault power Pmin at the same time. Check whether the DC power supply equipment reduces the charging power or triggers a fault shutdown before the T1 temperature reaches 105 ℃.
Experiment 3 Quick Fault Test: Turn on the heat exchange device (if any), output the rated continuous current of the DC power supply equipment, and apply a thermal fault power of 2XPmim. Check whether the DC power supply equipment reduces the charging power or triggers a fault shutdown before the T1 temperature reaches 105 ℃.
Experiment 4 Sudden Slow Fault Test: Turn on the heat exchange device (if any), output the rated continuous current of the DC power supply equipment, wait for the temperature rise of the TS and T1 temperature sensors to stabilize, apply the heating fault power Pm, and check whether the DC power supply equipment triggers the fault shutdown before the T1 temperature reaches 105 ℃.
Experiment 5 Rapid Fault Test: Turn on the heat exchange device (if any), output the rated continuous current of the DC power supply equipment, wait for the temperature rise of the TS and T1 temperature sensors to stabilize, apply a heating fault power of 2xPmin, and check whether the DC power supply equipment triggers a fault shutdown before the T1 temperature reaches 105 ℃.
Experiment 6 Vehicle Over temperature Protection Test: During the energy transfer phase, by applying a heat source, modifying temperature sensor parameters, and other methods, if the interface temperature exceeds the over temperature protection action value (customized by the electric vehicle manufacturer), check whether the electric vehicle can reduce power output or stop charging.

1.Equipment chassis
The equipment chassis is made of sheet metal welding and surface baking paint, matched with computer gray white and light blue, durable and beautiful. The panel is made of aluminum plate sandblasted and silk screened, which is elegant and beautiful.
There are heat dissipation holes on both sides of the device for easy internal heat dissipation.

The test gun seat is located in the middle of the front of the equipment, making it convenient to insert the test product gun head.

2.heating system
Composed of intelligent temperature controller, PLC, touch screen, thermocouple wire, heating rod, etc
The gun socket pins are independently developed and processed, with heating rods and thermocouple wires embedded on the pins
The PLC automatically applies the corresponding heating power, and the heating is automatically adjusted based on the temperature feedback from the temperature probe to reach the heating temperature, achieving precise control.
