Overview

The material optical performance tester is a specialized instrument developed for precise measurement of solar vacuum tubes, solar collectors, high-tech materials, coatings, pigments, construction and other industries. It can be used for measuring the reflectivity and absorption of various solar vacuum tubes, solar collector coatings, paint films, oils, thin films, plastic products, and organic products. It can also be used for the determination of visible light, ultraviolet, infrared and other spectra (i.e. the determination of the same light source but different materials or the determination of the same material but different light sources).

2、 Working principle

The so-called reflection refers to the selective absorption of a certain wavelength of radiation in the visible spectrum by a non transparent body after being irradiated with light, due to the difference in its surface molecular structure, and reflecting the remaining color light. This type of object is called a non transparent body or reflector. This instrument utilizes this principle and adopts the principle of photoelectric conversion induction. When used in conjunction with a multifunctional digital sensor, it can accurately measure the reflectivity of different materials and the spectral range of different light sources. The sensing element of the instrument adopts a wire wound electroplating multi contact hot spot stack, which is coated with a high absorption coating on its surface. The hot contact of the sensing element is on the sensing surface, while the cold contact is located inside the body together, so as to directly measure the ambient temperature. In order to prevent the measurement accuracy from being affected by the unidirectional heat exchange between the hot contact and the environment through the glass cover, two layers of glass covers were used. When a light wave is reflected through the reflector, the temperature difference between the cold and hot contacts of the receiver will generate an electric potential value, which converts the light signal into an electrical signal output. Within the linear error range, the output signal is proportional to the illuminance of the light wave reflected through the reflector.

The material optical performance analysis software can run in an environment above Windows 98, displaying real-time data from various sources, updating every 10 seconds, automatically storing detection data (storage time can be set), displaying test results in real time, automatically calculating and drawing reflectance, absorbance, and transmittance curves, displaying the material's reflectance absorption ratio to ultraviolet, visible, and infrared light, and automatically printing when connected to a printer. The data storage capacity is over ten years, and the data storage format is EXCEL standard format, which can be called by other software;

The optical radiation sensor is designed based on professional optical radiation principles, with a set of three types of light receivers (spectral range: 280-3000nm, 400-3000nm, 700-3000nm) that can test the reflectivity, absorbance, and transmittance of materials to ultraviolet (280400nm), visible (400700nm), and infrared (7003000nm) light;
