The SENSE-WARE T-229/4P flame detector test lamp can trigger UV, IR, and UV/IR flame detectors in the frequency range of UV 185-235nm and IR 4.4 μ. The UV single function detector can reach a maximum distance of 8 meters (26 feet) in continuous mode. The maximum distance for IR single function testers and UV/IR dual function detectors can reach 4 meters (13 feet). Most IR flame detectors use the analysis of flame flicker frequency as an alarm standard. In order to excite the flame frequency, the T-229/4P test lamp needs to be operated by pulse, and the pulse selection switch is located on the left side of the lamp. After switching to pulse mode, the test lamp releases pulses at a frequency of 2Hz. After the alarm delay time, the IR or UV/IR flame detector will be activated.
