Basic measurement techniques
The 973 type cold mirror dew point meter is a portable instrument equipped with an integral measuring head, used for single point or continuous measurement of frost/dew point and temperature in air and gas. Based on the principle of cold mirror, 973 provides basic and drift free accurate humidity measurement.
Easy to use with minimal maintenance
973 does not require replacement of humidity sensors or calibration adjustments. Unlike sensor based systems, daily maintenance is limitedOccasionally clean the mirror surface. Users can use the built-in Ice Test function to perform self checking of instrument calibration stability.
Is it dew or frost?
When the temperature is below 0 ° C, water will condense into a liquid or solid state (dew or frost). The temperature difference when the condensation layer is stable can reach up to 3 ° C, therefore, in order to correctly calculate or verify parameters such as relative humidity, it is necessary to know the state of the condensation. As shown in the figure on the right, there may also be dew and frost on the mirror at the same time; This leads to an unstable value at a certain position between the dew point and frost point.
ForceFrost feature
When the temperature is lower than the user set temperature, the ForceFrost function of 973 will rapidly cool down the mirror, forcing the condensation layer into the solid phase. This eliminates the uncertainty of measuring dew point or frost point.
Intuitive user interface
973 adopts a 5.7-inch LCD touch screen with high contrast and wide viewing angle, which is clear and easy to read. By using the buttons and menus on the screen, you can easily configure each line of the instrument display to obtain various humidity, temperature, and pressure parameters, which can be viewed in units of your choice. With just a touch of a button, users can change any parameters between the displayed values and graphic formats in large fonts, and have configurable axes, allowing them to easily view measurement trends and stability without the need for external data collection.
