Guided Wave_SST Process Probe Product Description
Guided wave single-sided transmission (SST) probe is currently a popular fiber optic probe. For over 25 years in the market, it is a widely replicated probe design in the industry. Durable and reliable, it is an ideal choice for continuous process monitoring applications. Through an access port, SST probes can be easily installed in pipelines or reactors, compatible with any guided wave analyzer and many other brands of analyzers. Optional accessories make the SST probe easy to adapt to different types of process installations.

Anti process construction
The SST probe is designed to withstand harsh process conditions. The main body of the probe is made of 316L stainless steel or other corrosion-resistant materials specially ordered. The sapphire optical window of the SST probe is sealed inside the probe body by proprietary gold alloy brazing. These materials are not affected by most hydrocarbons and polymers. For corrosive process flows, use O-ring SST probes instead. In addition, our special structural technology also makes the probe insensitive to most process pipeline vibrations.
Special optical transmission
Like other guided wave optical probes, SST probes provide optical performance. Usually, peak propagation exceeds 40%. This means more signals, lower measurement noise, and lower detection limits. The optical alignment of the SST probe is at the factory. No optical adjustments are required during installation, and there will be no chance of misalignment or changing the path length.
Compatible with all guided wave analyzers and many other analyzer brands
Probe, or sample interface, is a key component of a complete analysis system. In order to achieve optimal performance, the probe must be "optically matched" with the spectrometer and the optical fiber that transmits the spectral signal.
