Overview

The advanced electronic components of the steel strip heavy hammer level gauge are controlled by intelligent motors. Each measurement cycle is initiated by lowering the hammer/cable assembly into the container. The amount of descent/elevation of the steel cable is equal to the empty space distance from the starting point of measurement to the surface of the material below the W55 installation point. This distance is measured using Hall effect detection technology and microcontroller timer circuits, with a measurement resolution of 0.045 \\ \\ \\ \\ \\ \\ \\ \\ \\ \\ \\ \\ \\ \\ \\ \\ \\ \\ \\ \\ \\ \\ \\ \\ \\ \\ \\ \\ \\ \\ \\ \\ \\ \\ \\ \\ \\ \\ \\ \\ \\ \\ \\ \\ \\ \\ \\ \\ \\ \\ \\ \\ \\ \\ \\ \\ \\ \\ \\ \\ \\ \\ \\ \\ \\ \\ \\ \\ \\ \\ \\ \\ \\ \\ \\ \\ \\ \\ \\ \\ \\ \\ \\ \\ \\ \\ \\ \\ \\ \\ \\ \\ \\ \\ \\ \\ \\ \\ \\ \\ \\ \\ \\ \\ Inside. Magnetic technology is also used to detect contact with the material surface. After the measurement data is refreshed, the motor runs in reverse and the measuring hammer/steel cable returns to its initial position. This achieves the purpose of medium visualization and process automation. Distance is measured and verified during the ascent process.

Product Details

Lime silo level gauge product description

The lime silo level gauge is installed at the top of the silo, and the detection process of the level gauge sensor is controlled by the signal sent by the control display instrument (secondary meter). The primary meter sensor consists of a reversible motor, lead screw, gear shaft, winding drum, sensitive lever, etc. When the sensor receives a detection command, the motor rotates forward to drive the gear shaft and winding drum to rotate, causing the steel wire rope to lower and driving the heavy hammer to descend from the top of the warehouse. When the heavy hammer descends to the material surface and is lifted by the material surface, it loses weight. The steel wire rope relaxes, and the sensitive lever action makes the micro switch contact. The control display instrument immediately sends a motor reverse command when it receives this signal. The heavy hammer rises and returns until the winding drum touches the top switch, the motor stops, and the heavy hammer returns to its original position at the top of the warehouse, completing a detection process. During this process, the control display instrument calculates the distance between the heavy hammer and the material surface by detecting the number of revolutions of the winding drum, displays it digitally on the panel, and outputs a 4-20mA current on the rear panel terminal (without the need for an additional DC24V).

3、 Working principle

The detection process of the level gauge sensor installed at the top of the silo is controlled by the signal emitted by the control display instrument. The sensor consists of a reversible motor, reducer, screw, gear shaft, winding drum, sensitive lever, etc. When the sensor receives a detection command (see Figure 2): the motor rotates forward, and the gear shaft and winding drum are driven to rotate through the reducer, causing the steel wire rope to be lowered and driving the heavy hammer to descend from the top of the warehouse. When the heavy hammer descends to the material surface and is lifted by the material surface, it loses weight. The steel wire rope relaxes, and the sensitive lever action makes the micro switch contact. The control display immediately sends a motor reverse command when it receives this signal. The heavy hammer rises and returns until the winding drum touches the top switch, and the motor stops rotating. The heavy hammer returns to its original position at the top of the warehouse, completing a detection process. During this process, the control display instrument calculates the distance between the heavy hammer and the material surface by detecting the number of revolutions of the winding drum, displays it digitally on the panel, and outputs a 4-20mA current on the rear panel terminal. (No need to add 24V)

Installation and wiring

1. Installation of a primary meter

(1) Choose a suitable location for installing a level gauge on the top of the warehouse: The selection of measuring points should avoid the feeding and discharging ports, and try to choose positions that are approximately equidistant during the loading and unloading processes. On the cement and fly ash silo with a dome, the installation position should be chosen to be far away from the blowing pipe, not in a straight line with the blowing pipe, and at a distance of 2/3 of the radius from the center of the silo top. On the coal powder silo of the power plant, in order to better compare with the original hand cranked probe data, a position closer to the original hand cranked probe should be selected. Require that there are no iron frames or other debris below the measurement point to avoid obstructing the measurement.

(2) Prepare flanges, steel pipes, and steel plates (see Figures 4, 5, and 6). This plate is not required for the top of the 300X500mm iron silo, but should be prepared for the top of the cement silo. Make a hole on the iron plate, with a diameter of 8-10mm equal to the outer diameter of the iron pipe. If the silo is open-air, a frost cover needs to be added, so L is required to be fixed to the top of the silo at a height of about 100mm. If there is a house, it can be extended to 300-400mm(
