Large caliber positive arch slotted LFTA900 blasting discThe concave surface is located on the high-pressure side of the pressure system. The positive arch slotted blasting disc is a new structure designed to solve the production difficulties caused by low blasting pressure or small discharge diameter. In order to seal it, a sealing membrane must be added. Due to the limitations of temperature and pressure on the sealing membrane material, the applicability of the positive arch slotted blasting disc is restricted.

Product Description:

A combination explosive disc is composed of components such as a strength film and a sealing film, and an additional layer of support is required for situations where back pressure needs to be withstood. There are holes and seams (radial or circumferential seams) on the strength film and bracket that weaken the strength of the material. When subjected to overpressure, it will break under tension at the section with the minimum hole spacing.

Explosive Disc Terminology

Explosive disc device: a non closed pressure relief device composed of explosive discs (or explosive disc components) and clamps (or support rings) and other components. At the set blasting temperature, when the pressure difference on both sides of the blasting disc reaches the predetermined value, the blasting disc immediately acts (ruptures or falls off) to release the pressure medium.

Bursting disc: A pressure sensitive component that rapidly moves due to overpressure in a bursting disc device.

Explosive disc component: a component composed of two or more parts such as explosive disc, back pressure bracket, reinforcing ring, protective film or sealing film, also known as a combination explosive disc.

Clamp: an independent clamping component in a bursting disc device that has functions such as positioning, support, and sealing, and can ensure accurate movement of the bursting disc.

Support ring: a ring-shaped component that is mechanically or welded to fix the blasting position and has the function of supporting the force of the blasting disc and ensuring its accurate movement, but cannot independently play a clamping role.

Strengthening ring: A ring-shaped component in a composite explosive disc that tightly adheres (binds) to the edge of the disc to enhance its edge stiffness.

Discharge connection pipe: connected to the discharge side of the bursting disc device, used to guide the pressure medium to the designated location after the bursting disc device is depressurized.

Back pressure bracket: A support frame (or bracket) used in a combination bursting disc device to prevent accidental damage to the bursting disc caused by the system under back pressure conditions.

Open back pressure bracket: a back pressure bracket that ruptures when a bursting disc bursts.

Non open back pressure bracket: a back pressure bracket that does not rupture when the bursting disc bursts.

Back pressure: The pressure on the release side of a bursting disc device when it is higher than the pressure on the inlet side (or when the inlet side is in a negative pressure condition). In the design of components such as bursting discs and brackets, the influence of the pressure difference between the inlet side and the relief side of the bursting disc device under back pressure conditions should be considered.

Sealing film: A thin film that seals the slotted bursting disc in a combined bursting disc device.
