NACHT Medium Freeze Drying Machine SeriesLaboratory freeze dryer
A vacuum freeze dryer is a new type of equipment that combines a refrigeration system, a vacuum system, a heat transfer oil heating system, and a dehumidification system. It can greatly utilize the storage space inside the box for freeze vacuum drying, and can make the dried powder have good dispersibility. The operation of the vacuum freeze dryer is simple. Generally, after starting up, the materials can be put into the material box for freezing. The freezing process of materials involves, on one hand, the vacuum system evacuating and removing a portion of the moisture; On the other hand, when the material is frozen, the moisture contained in certain molecules is discharged onto the surface of the material to freeze. After meeting the freezing requirements, the material is heated and dried by the heating system, and the moisture contained in the material is brought to the freezing capture box for freezing by vacuuming, achieving the freeze-drying requirements of the material.

Principle:
Drying is one of the methods to prevent substances from spoiling or deteriorating. There are many drying methods, such as sun drying, boiling drying, drying, spray drying and vacuum drying. But these drying methods are all carried out at temperatures above 0 ℃ or higher. The products obtained from drying generally have a reduced volume and a harder texture. Some substances have undergone oxidation, and most of the volatile components have been lost. Some heat sensitive substances, such as proteins and vitamins, may undergo denaturation. Microorganisms will lose their biological vitality, and dried substances are not easily soluble in water. Therefore, the dried product has significant differences in appearance compared to before drying. The freeze-drying method is different from the above drying methods. The drying of the product is basically carried out at a temperature below 0 ℃, that is, in the frozen state of the product, until later, in order to further reduce the residual moisture content of the product, the product is raised to a temperature above 0 ℃, but generally not exceeding 50 ℃.
Freeze drying is the process of pre cooling and freezing substances containing a large amount of moisture into solids, and then directly sublimating water vapor under vacuum conditions, leaving the substance itself in the frozen ice shelf. Therefore, after drying, its loose and porous volume remains unchanged. Causing a decrease in the temperature of the product itself and slowing down the sublimation rate, in order to increase the sublimation rate and shorten the drying time, it is necessary to heat the product appropriately. The entire drying process is carried out at a lower temperature.
The substance is always at a low temperature (frozen state) before drying, and ice crystals are evenly distributed in the substance. During the sublimation process, concentration will not occur due to dehydration, and side effects such as foam and oxidation caused by water vapor are avoided. The dry substance is in the form of a dry sponge with multiple pores, and its volume remains basically unchanged. It is highly soluble in water and can be restored to its original state. To prevent the physical, chemical, and biological denaturation of dry substances to a large extent. Its working principle is to freeze the dried item below the triple point temperature first,Then, under vacuum conditions, the solid water (ice) in the item is directly sublimated into water vapor, which is removed from the item and dried. After pre-treatment, the materials are first frozen, then vacuum dried, sublimated, and dehydrated before being packaged in the post-processing workshop. The vacuum system establishes low-pressure conditions for the sublimation drying chamber, the heating system provides sublimation latent heat to the material, and the refrigeration system provides the required cooling capacity to the water trap and drying chamber. The quality requirements for freeze-dried products are: unchanged biological activity, uniform appearance and color, full shape, firm structure, fast dissolution rate, and low residual moisture. To obtain high-quality products, one should have a comprehensive understanding of the theory and process of freeze-drying. The freeze-drying process includes three stages: pre freezing, sublimation, and re freeze-drying. Reasonably and effectively shortening the freeze-drying cycle has significant economic value in industrial production.
