1. Purpose
LYAXD series plate and frame pressure oil filter | The oil filter trolley is widely used for filtering transformer insulation oil, lubricating oil, hydraulic oil, turbine oil, removing mechanical impurities and improving the cleanliness of the oil. It can be used in parallel with various types of vacuum oil filters produced by our company. This machine is particularly suitable for filtering and purifying oil products containing powder type impurities.

2. Principle and Performance Characteristics of LYAXD Plate and Frame Oil Filter

The plate and frame oil filter machine uses a filter plate and a paper clamped in the middle of the frame to filter lubricating oil, which mainly depends on the accuracy of the filter paper to achieve the purpose of filtering impurities. The accuracy of filter paper on the market now ranges from 1-10u. Heavy duty gear oil cannot achieve high-precision filtration because gear oil generally has high viscosity. The advantage is that filter paper is cheap, and for those with more impurities, the cost of consumables in the later stage is low. The disadvantage is that the accuracy is not very high, which can only filter large particle impurities. Filter paper can absorb small molecule water, but can only filter large particle impurities. At present, there are many large and small panel and frame machines on the market, and their suitable range is also quite wide.

3. Characteristics of LYAXD-200 filter paper

The filter paper is made of imported wood fiber and PH glass fiber cotton. The filter paper mainly uses wood fiber as the raw material, which has polarity due to the presence of a large number of oxygen atoms. The degradation products of oil are also polar. When the degradation products of oil pass through the wood fiber with polar positions, they will be attracted and intercepted. This is because wood fiber has a large active surface, that is, a large magnetic field area, so it is very effective in absorbing and adsorbing pollutants.
In addition, the filter paper we use strictly adopts imported well-known manufacturers who never remove additives, mainly because the additives and oil molecules are fully integrated. Filter paper exhibits polarity due to the presence of oxygen atoms in wood fibers, while fine particles in oil also exhibit physical polarity, thus achieving a filtration accuracy of 1-5 microns. Oil molecules are measured in nanometers, so even if the filtration accuracy has reached 1-5 microns, it is still much larger than the size of oil molecules. The flux of filter paper is twice the rated flow rate, and even if most of it is blocked, it can still meet the needs of oil circulation. Note: 1 micron precision refers to low viscosity oils (6 # -32 # -46 # -68 # lubricating oils, aviation hydraulic oils, anti-wear hydraulic oils, turbine oils, transformer insulation oils, etc.). Lubricating oil and gear oil above 68 # cannot meet this precision standard, which is also a global challenge.
