A bursting disc consists of two or more layers, with one layer being a sealing film and at least one layer being a positively arched bursting disc with holes (seams). The positive arch slotted blasting disc is a new structure designed to solve the production difficulties caused by low blasting pressure or small discharge diameter. In order to seal it, a sealing membrane must be added. Due to the limitations of temperature and pressure on the sealing membrane material, the applicability of the positive arch slotted blasting disc is restricted.
Product Description:
A combination explosive disc is composed of components such as a strength film and a sealing film, and an additional layer of support is required for situations where back pressure needs to be withstood. There are holes and seams (radial or circumferential seams) on the strength film and bracket that weaken the strength of the material. When subjected to overpressure, it will break under tension at the section with the minimum hole spacing.
Characteristics of positive arch slotted blasting disc (LF)
1. Suitable for both gas and liquid media, as well as medium and low-pressure burst pressure conditions
2. When selecting a sealing film, consideration should be given to its temperature range of applicability
3. The maximum working pressure can reach 80% of the minimum burst pressure
4. Fragments may be generated during blasting, and it is not recommended to use them in series with safety valves
5. Large caliber LF type blasting discs can achieve very low blasting pressure and are suitable for dust release and explosion suppression occasions
6. The product code without bracket is LF, and the product code with bracket is LFT

Selection of blasting disc materials
Common materials for manufacturing explosive discs: stainless steel, carbon steel, aluminum, copper, nickel, nickel, silver, Monel, Inconel, graphite, fluoroplastics, etc. When selecting explosive disc materials, ordering manufacturers should consider the following aspects:
(1) At present, the vast majority of materials used for manufacturing explosive discs in China are imported austenitic stainless steel thin strips or sheets (such as 316, 321, 304, etc.). Due to its uniform chemical composition, stable mechanical properties, small thickness deviation, and wide operating temperature range (-196 ℃~70 ℃). So it becomes the process of manufacturing explosive discs and selecting materials.
(2) In some cases, such as when the temperature fluctuation range is small and the pressure requirements are not very strict, aluminum sheet can also be used to save costs (currently, this material is rarely used by professionals who make bursting discs).
(3) When the bursting disc works at lower pressures and temperatures, aluminum can be used for manufacturing because of its good low-temperature resistance and lower strength limit of the material
(4) If there are special requirements for corrosion resistance, nickel, silver, Monel alloy or graphite can also be used.
(5) When selecting blasting disc materials, the ordering manufacturer needs to fully negotiate with the manufacturer: considering not only the various requirements for blasting disc materials, but also factors such as material supply status, time, and price, in order to select suitable blasting discs.
