LFTA700 bursting disc with positive arch opening for boiler flueThe concave surface is located on the high-pressure side of the pressure system. A bursting disc consists of two or more layers, with one layer being a sealing film and at least one layer being a positively arched bursting disc with holes (seams). The positive arch slotted blasting disc is a new structure designed to solve the production difficulties caused by low blasting pressure or small discharge diameter. In order to seal it, a sealing membrane must be added. Due to the limitations of temperature and pressure on the sealing membrane material, the applicability of the positive arch slotted blasting disc is restricted.
Product Description:
A combination explosive disc is composed of components such as a strength film and a sealing film, and an additional layer of support is required for situations where back pressure needs to be withstood. There are holes and seams (radial or circumferential seams) on the strength film and bracket that weaken the strength of the material. When subjected to overpressure, it will break under tension at the section with the minimum hole spacing.
Characteristics of positive arch slotted blasting disc (LF)
1. Suitable for both gas and liquid media, as well as medium and low-pressure burst pressure conditions
2. When selecting a sealing film, consideration should be given to its temperature range of applicability
3. The maximum working pressure can reach 80% of the minimum burst pressure
4. Fragments may be generated during blasting, and it is not recommended to use them in series with safety valves
5. Large caliber LF type blasting discs can achieve very low blasting pressure and are suitable for dust release and explosion suppression occasions
6. The product code without bracket is LF, and the product code with bracket is LFT

Selection steps for blasting discs
In the process of selecting bursting discs, it is generally necessary to formulate the basic requirements for bursting discs based on the specific objective conditions of their use (pressure, temperature, medium, working conditions, etc.). If there are standardized components that can meet the usage requirements, they can be selected from existing bursting discs. If there are no ready-made bursting discs that meet the requirements, they can be processed reasonably according to the needs, but they must comply with national standards. Reasonably select blasting discs and use and install them according to requirements.
When choosing the type of explosive disc, the following aspects should be considered:
(1) Pressure
When the pressure is high, the bursting disc should be selected in the shape of a regular arch or a flat plate; When the pressure is low, it is advisable to choose a slotted or inverted arch shape for the bursting disc
(2) Are there any fragments present
When the container contains flammable and explosive media, in order to avoid friction and spark ignition of the media, or when the bursting disc is combined with the safety valve, in order to prevent the bursting disc fragments from blocking the medium flow channel of the safety valve, it is necessary to choose a type of bursting disc without fragments. As for the positive and negative arch groove types, the slotted type or the negative arch with knife (palatal tooth) type blasting disc can also be selected.
(3) Working medium
When the medium inside the container is liquid, it is not advisable to use anti arch type bursting discs: due to the insufficient energy of high-pressure or ultra-high pressure liquid, the anti arch type bursting disc cannot be stabilized and flipped, and therefore cannot release pressure normally, it is not suitable to use.
(4) Temperature
When the equipment temperature is high, it is not advisable to use fluoroplastic as the sealing film for the slotted bursting disc. The high operating temperature of fluoroplastic film is 260 ℃
(5) If the system has vacuum conditions or is subjected to back pressure, the bursting disc needs to be equipped with a back pressure bracket, or a reverse arch bursting disc can be selected.
