LFTA550 blasting disc with positive arch and open seam for metallurgical industryThe concave surface is located on the high-pressure side of the pressure system. A bursting disc consists of two or more layers, with one layer being a sealing film and at least one layer being a positively arched bursting disc with holes (seams). The positive arch slotted blasting disc is a new structure designed to solve the production difficulties caused by low blasting pressure or small discharge diameter. In order to seal it, a sealing membrane must be added. Due to the limitations of temperature and pressure on the sealing membrane material, the applicability of the positive arch slotted blasting disc is restricted.
Product Description:
A combination explosive disc is composed of components such as a strength film and a sealing film, and an additional layer of support is required for situations where back pressure needs to be withstood. There are holes and seams (radial or circumferential seams) on the strength film and bracket that weaken the strength of the material. When subjected to overpressure, it will break under tension at the section with the minimum hole spacing.
Characteristics of positive arch slotted blasting disc (LF)
1. Suitable for both gas and liquid media, as well as medium and low-pressure burst pressure conditions
2. When selecting a sealing film, consideration should be given to its temperature range of applicability
3. The maximum working pressure can reach 80% of the minimum burst pressure
4. Fragments may be generated during blasting, and it is not recommended to use them in series with safety valves
5. Large caliber LF type blasting discs can achieve very low blasting pressure and are suitable for dust release and explosion suppression occasions
6. The product code without bracket is LF, and the product code with bracket is LFT

The determination of the replacement cycle for bursting discs requires consideration of the following influencing factors:
(1) The anti fatigue performance of bursting discs (related to the structural type of bursting discs);
(2) The corrosion resistance of explosive disc materials to corresponding media and environmental media, the creep characteristics of explosive disc materials under high temperature conditions, and the changes in density, corrosion resistance, and aging of sealing and protective film materials;
(3) Actual operating pressure ratio used;
(4) The actual operating temperature and temperature fluctuations of explosive discs;
(5) The actual pressure and pressure fluctuations that a bursting disc can withstand.
Calculation of design pressure for bursting disc
1、 By calculating the operating pressure ratio and the small calibration burst pressure, the normal working pressure/operating pressure ratio=, the small calibration burst pressure, and the small calibration burst pressure+丨 manufacturing range deviation 丨+manufacturing range deviation=equipment design pressure
2、 Calibrate the range of blasting pressure. National standards stipulate that the calibrated blasting pressure of blasting discs should be greater than, the calibrated blasting pressure should be less than, and the calibrated blasting pressure (equipment design pressure) should be greater than
3、 Calculate, small blasting pressure, large blasting pressure, small calibrated blasting pressure - tolerance<blasting pressure<, large calibrated blasting pressure+tolerance
4、 The maximum allowable blasting pressure should not exceed 1.1 times the design pressure of the protected equipment, and the design blasting pressure should not exceed the design pressure of the protected equipment
5、 Reverse calculate whether the design pressure of the bursting disc meets the requirements, and whether the small bursting pressure of the bursting disc is greater than or equal to the margin coefficient x the normal operating pressure of the equipment
The margin coefficient is 1.43 for the regular arch type, 1.25 for the slotted arch type, 1.1 for the inverted arch type, and 2.0 for the flat plate type
