working principle
The KAL-K series adopts the principle of thermal diffusion measurement and works based on the following mechanism:
The sensor is equipped with two temperature probes: a heating element and a temperature monitoring element
When the liquid flows through the sensor, it takes away the heat from the heating element, causing a temperature difference between the two probes
The larger the flow rate, the more heat it takes away, and the smaller the temperature difference; The smaller the flow rate, the greater the temperature difference
The microprocessor measures the temperature difference in real-time, calculates the corresponding flow rate value, and compares it with the preset value
When the flow reaches the set point, the output signal triggers an alarm or controls the device
Unique advantages: No need for pipeline cutting or installation of additional accessories, direct threaded connection, minimal impact on the system, especially suitable for applications sensitive to pressure loss.
