The KM-4 particle abrasion tester is specially designed as a standard instrument based on the national standards of "Determination of Abrasion Rate of Fertilizer Catalysts, Molecular Sieves, Adsorbents, etc." (GB3636-83), "Determination of Abrasion Rate of 3A Molecular Sieve" (GB10505.2-89), "Testing Method for Wood Activated Carbon Strength Determination" (GB/T12496-22-90) and other testing methods in China. It is a new generation product launched after the KM-III particle abrasion tester, with further improved performance and a more reasonable structure. It is widely used in the chemical, pharmaceutical, petroleum and other industries to determine the abrasion rate of particulate materials such as catalysts, molecular sieves, adsorbents, alumina, etc.
The KM-4 particle abrasion tester instrument uses a single-chip microcomputer to control the stepper motor to drive the grinding cylinder to rotate and wear the material. Due to the use of microcontroller control, its rotation speed is precise, uniform and stable, and the noise is low. The working status information of the instrument is indicated by LED light-emitting tubes, which are clear and intuitive. In addition, it also has functions such as preset rotation speed, alarm setting, and pause setting. This instrument has domestic technology, reasonable structure, simple and intuitive operation, extremely stable and reliable performance, and extremely low failure rate. Therefore, it has a high cost performance ratio and is an ideal wear rate testing device.

Usage:
1. Rotate the handwheel counterclockwise to move the force lever upward, turn on the power, and the display will show 00.0. If other values are displayed, press the reset button repeatedly until the number shows 00.0.
2. Place the test sample in the center position of the sample tray, then rotate the handwheel clockwise to move the force lever downwards. When the force lever approaches the sample, press the peak hold button once, and the peak hold indicator light will be on. Continue to slowly rotate the handwheel, and the display will show the data, which will increase with the increase of the test force. When the sample particles are crushed, the maximum value of the force (intensity value) will be locked, and the degree value will be directly displayed.
3. When continuing the experiment, remove the residue from the sample tray, press the peak hold button once to release the peak hold, and the number will return to display 00.0. At the same time, the peak hold indicator light will turn off, and press the reset button once until the number displays 00.0.
4. When the sample strength is too high and the displayed value exceeds 500N, exit in a timely manner to prevent damage to the sensor. At this time, the locked value on the display is invalid.
