With N7747A and N7748A, the N77 platform can now provide compact automation instruments with higher optical performance. Excellent optical performance combined with higher sensitivity (-110 dBm) and corresponding low noise and high stability can accurately measure and monitor weak signals and small signal changes. The advantages of high relative power accuracy, low polarization correlation, and small spectral ripple support the instrument to perform more accurate measurements.

These instruments combine the validated optical performance of the 81634B sensor module with the compact form factor design of the N77 series platform, with 100 times the depth of memory per channel compared to previous models, faster data transfer rates, and continuous recording capabilities. Capable of uploading buffered data while recording new data, and conducting long-term continuous monitoring of weak and small signal changes. A single rack unit can install up to 8 high-sensitivity optical power meters. The optical connection adopts a replaceable 81000xI connector interface system.
