Using modern optoelectronic technology and computer technology to accurately analyze and measure indentation, eliminating manual reading errors, the measurement process can be completed in 1 second. The measurement results comply with international standards such as ISO and ASTM. Kingscan IV will measure up to 800 points around the circumference of the indentation, obtaining 400 Y-axis diameters and 400 X-axis diameters. Then, according to ASTM E10, the indentation diameter will be calculated, and within 1 second, the indentation diameter (mm) and Brinell hardness value (HBW) will be displayed on the screen. At the same time, the measurement software interface can also display characteristic parameters, including indentation roundness (RND), indentation head diameter, test load, test workpiece number, etc.

Kingscan IV software can convert various hardness values according to ASTM E140.
