1、 Overview of injection water storage tank
Injection water refers to water that meets the requirements of the Chinese Pharmacopoeia for injection water. The injection water is distilled water or deionized water obtained by distillation, so it is also weighed as distilled water. In order to effectively control microbial contamination and at the same time control the level of bacterial endotoxins, two major characteristics have emerged in the design and manufacturing of purified water and injection water systems: firstly, disinfection/sterilization facilities are increasingly being used in the system; The second is that the pipeline distribution system has evolved from traditional water supply pipelines to circulation pipelines. Therefore, injection water storage tanks are required to be non-toxic, corrosion-resistant, and capable of online cleaning and sterilization. The ventilation port of the injection water storage tank should be equipped with a hydrophobic sterilization filter that does not shed fibers. The storage of injection water can be carried out using insulation above 80 ℃, insulation cycling above 70 ℃, or storage below 4 ℃. Therefore, the injection water storage tank is a double layered tank with insulation.
2、 Characteristics of injection water tank
1. The tank body adopts a hygienic and sterile design, and each pipe mouth is drawn to form a smooth transition, avoiding cleaning dead corners caused by direct socket welding and ensuring the reliability and stability of the production process. The surface of the inner tank is polished with a mirror finish (roughness Ra ≤ 0.4 µ m); the outer surface is made of mirror panels or frosted plates, which are hygienic and aesthetically pleasing.
2. The process interface adopts ISO standard quick release chuck type interface, which is hygienic without dead corners, easy to disassemble, and equipped with anti-corrosion gaskets. Ensure service life.
3. Equipped with online cleaning (CIP) and online sterilization (SIP) functions, in compliance with GMP standards.
4. The inner surface is treated with a mirror finish, while the outer surface is matte or has a mirror finish on the upper and lower heads. The straight cylindrical part is matte treated, making it easy to clean and leaving no dead corners.
5. Temperature display control system and liquid level display system can be selected as needed. For automatic level requirements, remote output control function can be equipped. For routine operation observation, local display and manual control can be used.
8. The pipe mouth adopts a stretching and flanging process with a curved transition, which is smooth, easy to clean, and has no dead corners, ensuring the reliability, stability, and compliance with GMP requirements of the production process.
9. Due to the requirement of insulation for the storage conditions of injection water, the injection water tank is equipped with an insulation layer, which can maintain a constant temperature.
