Introduction to Hydrochloric Acid Storage Tank
The commonly used materials for hydrochloric acid storage tanks currently include fiberglass hydrochloric acid storage tanks, polypropylene hydrochloric acid storage tanks, and steel lined plastic hydrochloric acid storage tanks. Glass fiber reinforced plastic and polypropylene aging quickly under sunlight, so steel lined hydrochloric acid storage tanks are more durable.
Note: Stainless steel tanks are not suitable for storing hydrochloric acid
Stainless steel is corrosion-resistant due to its passivation film and is not resistant to reducing acids. 316L is an austenitic stainless steel that only has a certain degree of corrosion resistance to dilute hydrochloric acid at room temperature, and chloride ion intergranular corrosion may still occur after long-term storage.

Note: In addition to the fixed vertical hydrochloric acid storage tank shown in the above picture, Yongtong can also customize 200L~50000L fixed or mobile vertical or horizontal hydrochloric acid storage tanks for you.
Selection of level gauge for hydrochloric acid storage tankChoose fiberglass or PP magnetic float level gauge, top mounted or side mounted.
Regarding the leakage of acid mist from the exhaust outlet of hydrochloric acid storage tanks:
Due to the volatility of hydrochloric acid, acid mist often appears at the exhaust outlet of hydrochloric acid storage tanks in cold or rainy weather. Acid mist is also present during normal times, but it cannot be seen. On rainy days, the humidity is high, and the hydrochloric acid gas phase is absorbed by small water droplets in the air to form acid mist. Acid mist contains acidic corrosive media, which can pollute the environment and harm human health. According to environmental regulations, it must be treated to meet emission standards. At present, many companies have not dealt with it and have been directly arranged.
