(1) Rexroth plunger pump is a high-performance hydraulic component with high flow accuracy and stable pressure. Its working method is to achieve changes in fluid pressure and volume through the back and forth movement of the plunger in the pump chamber. The work process includes three stages: oil suction, sealing, and oil discharge.
(2) When sucking oil, the plunger is in the downward movement stage, and at this time, the oil sucked into the low-pressure oil circuit enters the pump chamber to form a certain pressure; When closed, the plunger is in a high position, and the sealing surface between the plunger and the end cap has been sealed. The oil in the pump chamber is forcibly squeezed out into the pressure pipeline, causing the pressure in the pipeline to continuously rise; When draining oil, the plunger is in the upward movement stage, and the pressure in the pump chamber gradually decreases.
(3) The core components are the plunger and pump chamber. The plunger is positioned inside the pump chamber and moves along the axis of rotation. The pump chamber is usually an elliptical structure surrounded by two cams arranged at orthogonal angles, forming a space resembling a horseshoe shape. Oil suction ports are provided at the inlet of the pump chamber, as well as on the inlet cam and plunger; There are also oil discharge ports located at the outlet and under the outlet cam and plunger.
(4) When the pump body continues to rotate, the plunger tilts forward with the movement of the rotation axis, gradually reducing the sealing surface between the plunger and the cam. At this time, low-pressure oil will enter the pump chamber and fill this small space. When the pump body continues to rotate and drives the plunger to approach the high-pressure side, the plunger gradually tilts backwards, and the sealing surfaces of the cam and plunger come into contact with each other, forcibly compressing the oil in this small space, thereby increasing the pressure of the oil.
(5) During use, due to the presence of the cam, each plunger undergoes four up and down reciprocating motions, each of which includes three stages: oil suction, oil discharge, and closure. Finally, the flow rate is controlled and monitored through a flow meter. After the motor is started, the gear reducer will drive a centrifugal plunger, causing it to continuously rotate. During the rotation process, there is a certain gap outside the plunger to facilitate the suction of liquid and its delivery to the outlet.
(6) At the same time, in the compression area of the plunger, it is filled with the material that needs to be conveyed, and under the drive of the plunger, it moves forward and compacts in the direction of gradually decreasing plunger volume, completing the entire cycle process and playing the role of conveying liquid. During the transportation process, if there is a blockage or other problem, and the pressure inside the pipeline increases, the centrifugal plunger can be stopped urgently through an automatic interlocking mechanism to eliminate any potential safety hazards.
