High power laser beam analyzerIt is an instrument used to measure the diameter, shape, and spatial intensity distribution of laser beams. The beam diameter and spatial intensity distribution are important parameters that describe the characteristics of a laser beam and determine its beam quality.
For example, even if two lasers have the same intensity and beam diameter, their focusing characteristics will change if the spatial intensity distribution is different, making it impossible to achieve the same performance. In addition, even if the laser resonant cavity is precisely designed, it will still be affected by optical component manufacturing errors and surrounding environments such as temperature. Therefore, accurately predicting the final beam characteristics is very difficult. For this reason, measuring the actual beam characteristics is quite important in laser beam applications, and laser beam analyzers can be used to measure these beam characteristics.
