In general, those with high adhesive content have good plasticity and the shape of the plastic parts is regular. However, if the adhesive content of the mica plastic mica board is too high, it will lead to excessive adhesive flow during compression molding, causing the mica sheet to slide and affecting its performance. So plastic mica boards are divided into two categories: those with more adhesive content and those with less adhesive content.
Plastic mica boards with high adhesive content generally have an adhesive content of 15% to 25% of the product quality. Its products include 5230 alkyd plastic mica board and 5231 insect glue plastic mica board, which are suitable for making insulation components with complex appearances or general purposes. And 5250 is mainly used as a high-temperature resistant insulation component.
Plastic mica board with low adhesive content, with adhesive content accounting for 8% to 15% of the product quality. Its products include 5235 alcohol acid plastic mica board and 5236 insect glue plastic mica board, which are suitable for making insulation components with high temperature rise (such as traction motors and lifting motors) or fast speed.
