How to use HYDAC pressure relay
Set the pressure relay at one end of the clamping hydraulic cylinder. After the hydraulic pump is started, the workpiece is first clamped. At this time, the pressure in the right chamber of the clamping hydraulic cylinder increases. When it reaches the set value of the pressure relay, the pressure relay acts and sends an electrical signal to energize 2YA. Then, the cutting hydraulic cylinder advances for cutting. During processing, the normally open contacts of the pressure relay microswitch are always closed. If the workpiece is not clamped, pressure relay 2 will disconnect, causing 2YA to lose power and the cutting hydraulic cylinder to immediately stop feeding, thus avoiding accidents caused by the workpiece being cut without clamping.
In fact, when used to control the sequential action of executing components, after the hydraulic pump is started, 2YA is first powered on, and oil enters the left chamber of the hydraulic cylinder, pushing the piston direction to move to the right. When encountering the limiter (or dead stop iron), the system pressure increases, and the pressure relay sends an electrical signal to energize 1YA. High pressure oil enters the left chamber of the hydraulic cylinder, pushing the piston to move to the right. If 3YA is also powered on at this time, the piston of the hydraulic cylinder will quickly move to the right; If 3YA loses power, the piston of the hydraulic cylinder moves slowly to the right, and its slow movement speed is regulated by the throttle valve.
When used again for hydraulic pump unloading, the pressure relay does not control the hydraulic pump to stop rotating, but controls the two position two-way solenoid valve to return the pressure oil output by hydraulic pump 5 to the oil tank for unloading.

① Voltage regulation range
The pressure regulating range refers to the range of low and maximum working pressures within which a pressure relay can emit electrical signals.
② Sensitivity and on-off adjustment range
The sensitivity of a pressure relay refers to the difference between the pressure required to turn on the electrical signal (opening pressure) and the pressure required to reset and cut off the electrical signal (closing pressure) when the pressure rises. To avoid frequent on-off of the pressure relay during pressure fluctuations, an adjustable difference between the opening and closing pressures is required, which is called the on-off adjustment interval.
③ Repetitive accuracy
At a certain set pressure, the difference between the opening pressure and the closing pressure during multiple pressure increases and decreases is called repeatability. ④ The time during which the pressure rises from the unloading pressure to the set pressure and the microswitch emits an electrical signal is called the boosting action time; On the contrary, it is called the time for voltage reduction action.
The most important performance of pressure relays mentioned above is sensitivity and repeatability. A high-performance pressure relay should have good sensitivity and high repeatability.

Unlike the temperature measurement principle of thermocouples, thermistor is based on the thermal effect of resistance for temperature measurement, that is, the characteristic of the resistance value of the resistor changing with temperature. Therefore, as long as the resistance change of the thermistor is measured, the temperature can be measured.
At present, there are mainly two types of thermistors: metal thermistors and semiconductor thermistors.
The resistance value and temperature of a metal thermistor can generally be approximated by the following equation:

In the formula, Rt is the resistance value at temperature t; Rt0 is the corresponding resistance value at temperature t0 (usually t0=0 ℃); α is the temperature coefficient.
The relationship between the resistance value and temperature of a semiconductor thermistor is

In the formula, Rt is the resistance value at temperature t; A. B depends on the constant of the structure of the semiconductor material.
Compared to others, thermistors have a larger temperature coefficient and higher resistance values at room temperature (usually above several thousand ohms), but they have poor interchangeability, severe nonlinearity, and a temperature measurement range of only -50~300 ℃. They are widely used for temperature detection and control in household appliances and automobiles. Metal thermistors are generally suitable for temperature measurement in the range of -200~500 ℃, characterized by accurate measurement, good stability, and reliable performance. They are widely used in process control.
