The opening of the pilot valve is achieved by turning the top adjustment bolt clockwise, which causes the spring to contract and produce elastic force, causing the pilot valve diaphragm to sink downward. The force acting on the pilot valve connecting rod causes it to move downward and open the pilot valve. After the pilot valve is opened, the steam in chamber A of the upstream steam inlet pipe passes through the alpha channel (steam supply regulation channel), enters the annular steam chamber of the pilot valve through the pilot valve, and is directly sent to the upper chamber of the piston cylinder below through the beta channel. Under the continuous supply of steam in chamber A, the pressure continues to rise, pushing the piston down to open the main valve. At this time, steam * flows from chamber A to chamber B. When the load in chamber B of the downstream outlet pipe section is met, the excess steam continuously increases the pressure in chamber B. The continuously increasing pressure is fed back to the lower chamber of the pilot valve diaphragm through the gamma channel (pressure sensing channel), causing the pilot valve diaphragm to protrude upwards, overcoming the pressure of the upper regulating spring, and the pilot valve is closed or reduced. Thus, turn down or shut off the steam source from the upstream alpha channel. When the pressure in the upper chamber of the piston cylinder decreases, the main valve is closed or reduced under the action of the reset spring below. At this time, the pressure in chamber B begins to decrease, and this cycle is repeated to achieve the purpose of pressure regulation.
